On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate of attainment issued by Water Treatment Services for the course “Advanced Water & Wastewater Treatment for Industrial & Process Applications” – WTS 0100.

This certificate should be retained as evidence of formal training in this subject.

Candidates will also develop the skills to perform basic water quality analysis and learn how to interpret the results so as to effectively monitor, control and manage cooling systems.

Additionally, candidates will develop the skills to conduct basic fault-finding and prepare cost effective solutions to common problems affecting such cooling systems.

Are there pre-qualification requirements?

WTS 0050 “Cooling Water Treatment & Evaporative Cooling Systems” is an intensive course designed for plant operators, water treatment engineers, facilities managers, maintenance and engineering contractors, and those with responsibility for the operation and maintenance of commercial and industrial cooling towers and other cooling systems.

Candidates must have successfully completed our course WTS 0010 “Basic Chemistry of Water & Analysis”.

Prior knowledge and experience of cooling water systems, cooling towers and issues associated with water treatment would also be of benefit. We typically recommend a minimum of 6 months practical in-field experience before starting this course.

Water treatment training certificate

On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate of attainment issued by Water Treatment Services for the course “Cooling Water Treatment & Evaporative Cooling Systems” – WTS 0050.

This certificate should be retained as evidence of formal training in this subject.

How long is the course?

The duration of this course is one day. Training materials, lunch and refreshments are all included.

Pre-Qualification Requirements for WTS 0100

WTS 0100 “Advanced Water & Wastewater Treatment for Industrial & Process Applications” is an intensive course designed for professional operators with responsibility for the operation and maintenance of industrial water treatment systems. Prior knowledge and practical experience of industrial water and waste treatment issues associated with the management of steam boilers, cooling systems and closed systems is essential. We recommend a minimum of 6 months practical in-field experience before starting this course.

Candidates must have successfully completed our course WTS 0010 “Basic Chemistry of Water & Analysis”.

Additionally, familiarity with liquid, solid separation processes and experience of waste water treatment plant operation would also be of benefit.

Water Treatment Training Certificate

On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate of attainment issued by Water Treatment Services for the course “Advanced Water & Wastewater Treatment for Industrial & Process Applications” – WTS 0100.

This certificate should be retained as evidence of formal training in this subject.

How Long is the Course WTS 0100?

The duration of this course is five days. Training materials, lunch and refreshments are all included. Please note that hotel accommodation is not included although our training team can assist with local hotel reservations.

Candidates must have successfully completed our course WTS 0010 “Basic Chemistry of Water & Analysis”.

Familiarity with liquid, solid separation processes and experience of waste water treatment plant operation would also be of benefit.

On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate of attainment issued by Water Treatment Services for the course “Industrial Wastewater Treatment” – WTS 0070.

This certificate should be retained as evidence of formal training in this subject.

Who is this boiler water treatment training for?

Typical candidates benefiting from WTS 0040 will be boiler plant operators, plant managers, maintenance and engineering contractors, water treatment specialists and those with responsibility for the operation and management of commercial and industrial boilers and steam generating plant.

What will you learn about boiler water treatment?

WTS 0040 will give candidates a good technical appreciation of common steam boiler systems and industrial steam generating plant including shell and tube boilers, water tube boilers, steam generators and electrode boilers.

Candidates will gain a thorough understanding of the problems associated with scaling, fouling and corrosion caused by oxygen and carbon dioxide in steam raising systems.

Candidates will develop the skills to design and implement cost effective water pre-treatment and treatment programmes for steam systems.

Candidates will also develop the skills to perform basic water analysis tests and learn how to interpret the results so as to effectively monitor, control and manage steam systems.

Additionally, candidates will develop the skills to conduct basic fault-finding and prepare cost effective solutions to common problems affecting such systems.

Are there pre-qualification requirements?

WTS 0040 “Boiler Water Treatment & Steam Generation” is an intensive course designed for experienced boiler plant operators, water treatment engineers, facilities managers, maintenance and engineering contractors, and those with responsibility for the operation and maintenance of commercial and industrial boilers and steam generating plant.

Candidates must have successfully completed our course WTS 0010 “Basic Chemistry of Water & Analysis”.

Prior knowledge and experience of steam raising systems and issues associated with water treatment would also be of benefit. We typically recommend a minimum of 6 months practical in-field experience before starting this course.

Water treatment training certificate

On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate of attainment issued by Water Treatment Services for the course “Boiler Water Treatment & Steam Generation” – WTS 0040.

This certificate should be retained as evidence of formal training in this subject.

The duration of this course is one day. Training materials, lunch and refreshments are all included.
