Who would benefit from legionella awareness training?

Our awareness training course is ideal for people who need a good overview of Legionnaires’ disease (a pneumonioa like chest infection) and the organism that causes it – Legionella bacteria, the rules and regulations that govern this area of health and safety, those practical measures that need to be taken to ensure the health and safety of staff and other people is protected, and the steps required to ensure all legal obligations in this important area are met.

Who is the course for? This awareness course is ideal for landlords, business owners and company directors, facilities managers, building services engineers, maintenance staff, health and safety managers, and people with responsibility for the safe operation of water systems.

The course is designed to give an overview of the issues involved in the management and control of legionella in the workplace. If you are considered to be the Duty Holder or have taken on the role of the Responsible Person for legionella control then this course is not suitable for you. Under such circumstances we would recommend our two day  Responsible Person & Duty Holder training course which deals with the subject in greater depth.
